Our Story: A Solo Designer with a Family Heart
CJ’s Equestrian is a proud, independent family business born out of a deep love for the equestrian world and a desire for immaculate presentation. While we operate with the support of a tight-knit family, every single stock tie is individually designed, patterned, and hand-crafted by me.
The inspiration for our signature collection came from my own frustration on competition days. Looking at the pre-tied stock ties available on the market, I found them incredibly flat, bland, and lacking the crisp, structured presence of a traditional self-tie. I knew riders deserved better—a tie that looked exceptionally smart, had beautiful depth, and held its shape without the pre-ring stress.
So, I set out to fix it. I designed a unique, structured pre-tied stock range that offers the flawless, dimensional look of a traditional tie but with the effortless convenience modern riders need on a busy show day. But even if you want to stay with the traditional option of a self tie, you will find a wide selection of self tie stock ties also. Because I am the sole maker, when you buy from CJ’s, you are getting a piece poured over by a single artisan, backed by the love and support of a small equestrian family.
