Comes in four different widths, 6″, 8″, 10″, and 12″, so you can find a size to suit. Measure the width from where each side is stitched to the rug, this prevents the guard from sliding from side to side and exposing the buckles. If you are between sizes, size up, a slight gathering is perfectly fine and will ensure buckles stay covered.
No hook and loop, or fasteners, straps slide through the loops, this way there’s no chance of the horse or pony from undoing the guard and exposing the buckles. There’s three loops, each with a 3″ opening, so suitable for straps set at different widths. Made from waterproof Cordura, so suitable for turnout as well as in the stable.
